INTRODUCTION   Created by Danial and Naima Moore, MegaGlobe.com has been designed to compete with the most influent search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.  MegaGlobe is an international search engine that is translated in 45 languages and includes its own pay per click section known as MegaGlobe Ads, which has been designed to support up to 50 different currencies.   THE LANGUAGES   The languages available on MegaGlobe are:   Arabic Armenian Bosnian Bulgarian Catalan Croatian Czech Danish Dutch English Estonian Finnish French German Greek Hebrew Hindi Hungarian Indonesian Italian Japanese Korean Latvian Lithuanian Macedonian Malay Norwegian Polish Portuguese Portuguese Brazil Punjabi Romanian Russian Serbian Simplified Chinese Slovak Slovenian Spanish Spanish Latin America Swahili Swedish Thai Traditional Chinese Turkish Ukrainian Vietnamese      US TRADEMARKS   Registration Number               Word Mark 3321476                               MEGAGLOBE ADS 3314523                               MEGAGLOBE CARD 3309654                               MEGAGLOBE (The logo) 3262902                               MEGAGLOBE (The name)     EUROPEAN TRADEMARKS   Registration Number               Word Mark 002430463                            MEGAGLOBE   INTERNATIONAL TRADEMARKS: WIPO   Registration Number               Word Mark 748985                                 MegaGlobe 889534                                 MEGAGLOBE     THE PAY PER CLICK SECTION   MEGAGLOBE ADS: Pay Per Valid Click Technology   MegaGlobe Ads (MegaGlobe’s pay per click section) allows advertisers to bid on selected keywords for as little as $0.10 per click.  In today’s market, the major search engines have implemented algorithms to drive up the price per click for ad campaigns, requiring minimum bid amounts as low as $0.05 per click, but predominately as high as $12 per click.  Such costs have resulted in the inability of small businesses to obtain profits through Internet advertising.    MegaGlobe was created to be a true alternative to the major search engines.  Unlike Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter, MegaGlobe Ads allows each ad to be displayed regardless of the bid amounts.  This feature alone makes MegaGlobe an affordable option for large and small businesses alike.   MegaGlobe Ads also includes an algorithm that detects invalid and fraudulent click activity, and thereby eliminates billing of such activity.      THE PATENT   The pay-per-click industry is fairly new and Overture was the first to create the concept of online pay-per-click advertisement.  Overture also filed for a patent (number 6,269,361) for this technology.  This patent has become very famous and is now known under the name “Patent 361”.   In July 2003, Yahoo acquired Overture for $1.63 Billion.  When Google created their Adwords program, Yahoo filed a lawsuit against them claiming that Google was infringing on their patent.    In August 2004, Google and Yahoo settled and Yahoo obtained 2.7 million shares of Google’s stock.  At the time, Google estimated that the shares were valued between $260 and $290 million. This estimate was based on Google's proposed IPO price range of $108 to $135 per share.   Such patents help the big search engines to dominate the pay-per-click industry.  If a new company ventured to enter this industry, it would either have to pay millions of dollars to license this patented technology or develop its own.    As such, Danial Moore developed a new concept of pay per click advertising for MegaGlobe that allows advertisements to be displayed by frequency rather than by placement or position.  The patent for this technology was filed in December 2007 and is still pending.  The development of this technology was a crucial step toward entering and growing in the pay-per-click industry.      THE CREDIT CARD NETWORK   In addition to the search engine and pay per click section, MegaGlobe features a credit card network, operating as an affiliate for the following credit card issuers:   American Express Advanta Capital One Chase Discover Merrill Lynch   MegaGlobe also generates leads for debt consolidation, life insurance and debt settlement. The lead generation system is new and needs to be developed through strategic partnerships with other companies nationwide.      CURRENT MEGAGLOBE MEMBERS – ADVERTISERS   Thousands of  Members Hundred of  Advertisers Thousands of  Publishers     THE GLOBAL VISION   MegaGlobe was created to become a competitive alternative to the major search engines in the world market.  The primary goal is to offer affordable Internet advertising to small and large businesses while eliminating the expense that advertisers incur from invalid and fraudulent clicks on their advertisements.    To aid in achieving this goal, MegaGlobe’s pay-per-click section known as “MegaGlobe Ads” was designed to display sponsored ads from search inquiries.  The trademark “MegaGlobe Ads” was registered to uniquely identify this service and compete with Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN AdCenter.   MegaGlobe has also expanded to include a lead-generation system and an affiliate credit card network.  In addition, the “MegaGlobe Card” trademark has been registered with the vision of using the name as a co-branded credit card.  Companies such as Bank of America require a minimum of 25,000 members to issue co-branded credit cards.  With the creation, marketing, and distribution of a co-branded credit card, a new stream of revenue will be open for MegaGlobe.
